🚨JUST IN: US President Trump says "we don't know" if North Korea was behind the $6.3 BILLION Binance security incident. "We're looking at that," the President said when asked about the attribution. Blockchain firms Chainalysis and TRM Labs have both linked the attack to North Korean hacking group TraderTraitor with "high confidence." The FBI and US Secret Service are now working with Binance on the investigation, per Reuters. CNN, NPR and SecurityWeek have all reported on the suspected North Korea link. Binance has set aside $6.34 BILLION to cover all losses, and says user funds are safe. North Korea has now stolen around $12.8 BILLION in crypto since 2017, including $7.4 BILLION this year alone, per TRM Labs.
